Microsoft Teams: Restoring Channels
Sometimes, accidents happen! In the event a team owner or member (if the member had permission) deletes a channel, a channel can be restored.
To restore a channel, locate the team that needs a channel restored from your team list.
- Click on the ellipsis (...)
- Then select Manage team.
In the team options,
- Select Channels.
- Select the triangle next to Deleted to display any channels that have been deleted for this team.
- Select Restore.
A confirmation message will display indicating that the channel, along with all the conversations and content of the channel will be restored. Select Restore.
