Meet our Board of Directors
Much like Sam Houston State University, the Alumni Association has grown from its earliest beginnings in strength, prestige, influence, and member involvement. Today, it remains a vibrant member of the university family.
Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors must become a Life Members of the SHSU Alumni Association starting their term on the Board. They are elected by Directors of the Association (or under special circumstances, appointed by the Board President) to hold the position based on demonstrated involvement, interest, support, and commitment to Sam Houston State University. Each Academic College on the alumni board of directors is represented by a minimum of three alumni from each college.
