Become a COM Ambassador
Eligibility, Standards, and Requirements
Membership in SHSU-COM Student Ambassadors shall be open to any currently enrolled student who has successfully completed at least one long (Fall or Spring) semester at Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, Ambassadors must:
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university
- Be available to serve as an Ambassador for at least two long semesters
- Be knowledgeable of SHSU-COM curriculum, services, and resources
- Complete an application and interview process
COM Student Ambassadors will adhere to Section 3.3 of the SHSU Student Guidelines. Active membership shall be determined by those who participate in at least 33% of all scheduled events and programs.
