Dr. Brittany Fish
Dr. Brittany Fish is the Director for Program Support and Resources for the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Sam Houston State University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration, Master of Science in Human Sciences, and a Doctoral of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. As a professional, Dr. Fish has held several roles in higher education within enrollment success and academic affairs, all with a primary focus on student access and success. Much of her work was driven by the development of programs and technology systems utilizing engagement best practices to address the retention of high-needs students. Dr. Fish also has extensive experience in serving as an online professor in the academic discipline of Human Sciences. Her courses are designed to develop students into professional leaders that understand the philosophical tenets of their field in a pragmatic capacity.
In her current role at SHSU-COM, she is responsible for providing oversite to course support, curriculum mapping, and technology training and resources. Dr. Fish believes in the power of curricular design in coordination with strategic technology to best educate and engage students. Because of this, she is excited to serve in her role at the SHSU-COM to enhance and elevate faculty support and medical student success.
