Counseling Community
SHSU's College of Education operates two counseling clinics that offer a range of services to both students and the public, from play therapy for children, to couples counseling, family therapy and beyond.

SHSU's Nutrition Assessment and Counseling Center offers learning activities and guide for students to help them improve their health behaviors and manage nutrition-related concerns.
Raising Awareness
A group of students at Sam Houston State University strives to raise awareness about mental health disorders and encourages students to seek assistance or advice putting an end to those trends.
