Make the Sam Houston State University Difference for Former Foster Youth

The unfortunate reality for many youth formerly in foster care is that they do not have the resources or support to successfully complete a college education.  Generous support from alumni and friends like you help provide our former fosters, orphans, or wards of the state with the best professors, facilities, technology, and success in fulfilling a college career.  
With a donation to the Former Foster Youth Scholarship at Sam Houston State University you can know that your support will help provide bright, curious students with life-changing opportunities that prepare them not only for real-world success but also to make a difference in communities across the nation and around the world.

You can use your credit card to send a gift to the Former Foster Youth Scholarship through our secure online site. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. Please be sure to select “Other” in the “Gift Designation “ drop down tab (see Figure 1) and then enter Former Foster Youth Scholarship in the description box (see Figure 2). Please allow a few days to process your gift. You will receive a gift receipt for your tax records.
