Test of Essential and Academic Skills - (TEAS)

The ATI TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills, is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields. The ATI TEAS test is comprised of 170 questions set up in a multiple-choice format with four-option answers. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of Reading, Math, Science and English and Language Usage.

 

  • TESTING DAYS AND TIMES (Huntsville Campus)

      • Examinees need to report to the testing site at least 15-30 minutes prior to their scheduled testing time on their scheduled testing date.
      • Dates and/or times are subject to change. 
      • 3 1/2 hour time limit

      • $70.00 per test (paid to ATI) (taxes may apply)
      • This fee is due on the day of the exam and is separate from the registration/administration fee.

    • REMOTE

  • ITEMS NEEDED
    • Primarycurrent, unexpired government-issued photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport, state-issued ID, etc.)
      • NOTE: A credit card photo, temporary license, or student ID do not meet these criteria.
    • Secondary: any ID listed under primary photo ID, social security card, credit/debit card, student ID, etc.)
    • ATI username and password
  • SCORES
    • Scores will be available immediately following the completion of the test.
  • RETAKES
    • Candidates taking the TEAS exam can retest at any time (pending registration and seat availability).
    • Registration/administration/test fee applies.

    • Contact Services for Students with Disabilities first for your accommodations letter to be forwarded to the Testing Center.
    • Arrangements must be made with the Testing Center at least 2 weeks prior to testing.
