Paying for College
How Much Does it Cost to Attend SHSU?
One of the first questions students often ask is “How much is this going to cost?” The average cost of attendance for graduate and undergraduate students and a cost calculator can be found here.
What Types of Financial Aid are Available?
The SHSU Financial Aid Office is a great resource and works closely with students on all different types of aid including grants, loans, scholarships, work study programs and Bearkat Promise.
Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to complete a Scholarships4Kats application every year you attend SHSU. The application opens September 1 for the following school year, with a priority deadline of November 1. You must be an accepted student to apply.
