Parking Portal Transition Update

Our Parking Portal has been unavailable since 5:00 PM on May 29th as we transition to a new parking management system. We are still actively working on the transition and expect the system to be operational by this afternoon. Please note that departmental accounts may continue to experience temporary disruptions. Once the system is ready, individual departments will receive a notification along with a step-by-step guide to assist with the new process. We appreciate your continued patience and look forward to providing you with an improved parking experience.

ParkMobile a smarter way to park

The ParkMobile app provides hourly and daily parking in marked Zone 1 spaces, Zone 2 lots, and Zone 3 lots. Download the ParkMobile app on your ios or android device to start a parking session. Kiosks are available for garage parking.

  • Citations

    Citations are issued electronically and emailed to the address associated with the vehicle, including photographs of the violation. Vehicles without an associated email will receive a printed citation placed on the driver's side front window. A yellow sticker notice will be added to the window if a second violation occurs.

  • Visitors

    Visitors are apart of the SHSU community and must pay to park on campus. Visitors are encouraged to use Pay By Hour parking using the ParkMobile app or use a kiosk in one of our parking garages.

  • Book an Event

    Reserve spaces in the parking garage at least two weeks prior to your event. You can prepay for your guests, by including the parking fee with your ticket price or using your funds. For larger events or guest-paid parking events, we recommend hiring our parking attendants to direct your guests.
