Find Node Name

When you contact IT@Sam for assistance, you may be asked to provide the node name for your computer. The node name allows IT@Sam staff to access details about your computer to better assist you.

• Find Node Name on a PC

  Right click on the Windows button and select System.

  

  The node name will be the Device name.

  

• Find Node Name on a Mac
  Open System Preferences

  

  Select Sharing.

  

  The node name is the Computer Name.
