To register for Bearkat Family Day, all SHSU parents, families, and supporters must first create a free account through CampusESP, our official parent and family engagement platform. This account allows you to stay connected with important campus updates and access the Family Day registration portal.

    • Welcome Breakfast

Most activities are first come, first serve seating and/or may have a time-limit associated, if at full capacity.

2025 Bearkat Family Day Welcome Breakfast

SHSU Alumni Association hosts a fun kick-off to the Saturday activities! Come enjoy a delicious breakfast and learn about exciting opportunities their office supports: including eligibility for the coveted 2025 SHSU Tuition Draw, as well as engagement opportunities for your current student through the Student Alumni Association (SAA). Bearkat door prizes will be drawn every 15 minutes during breakfast! Special guest welcomes from SHSU administrators including SHSU's President, Dr. Alisa White at 9:00 AM.

Saddle up for an unforgettable evening at the Bearkat Family Picnic during Bearkat Family Day! This year’s rodeo and western-themed celebration invites students and their families to kick back and enjoy a night full of fun and excitement. Try your hand at thrilling carnival games, including mechanical bull riding, dance to the beats of our live DJ, and soak in the energy of live entertainment that will keep the party going all evening. With delicious food, great company, and plenty of family-friendly activities, this is the perfect way to wrap up your Bearkat Family Weekend on a high note. Don your boots and hats and get ready to make some great memories!

    Bearkat Alley (Tailgate) hosted by Campus Activities & Involvement
    Time: 11:00 AM-1:00PM 

    Join us for an electrifying match as the SHSU Women’s Volleyball team takes on UTEP during Bearkat Family Day! Bring your Bearkat pride and help us pack the stands with energy and excitement. Parents and families receive special discounted tickets ($5.00 ea.), so don't miss this chance to rally together and support our student-athletes. Let’s show UTEP how loud Bearkat Nation can get!
