Senate Bill 17 - Reminder

When determining and inputting assessment elements, users should keep in mind that the words 'diverse,' 'inclusion,' and 'equity' in and of themselves do not create a compliance issue; however, context related to programs, services, training, etc. should be evaluated for compliance. Users can consult the TSUS SB 17 Guidance - First Publication document available at https://www.tsus.edu/offices/general-counsel.html for guidance on what is prohibited or permissible. For questions related to SB 17 compliance, please reach out to the Office of Compliance and Insurance at 936.294.1077 or complianceandinsurance@shsu.edu.
