Traditions & Special Events
Campus Activities & Involvement is comprised of our amazing SHSU Traditions and small and large-scale university special events. Some larger traditions include: Homecoming, Tree of Light, The Sammys, Bearkat Alley, Welcome Week, and March 2 the Grave. -
Campus Activities Board
Campus Activities Board (CAB) is the official student event planning board. CAB consists of a Board of eight student leaders, who strategically design events that entertain the campus community and foster a sense of belonging. The Board plans and executes an average of 30 events a semester ranging from signature programs, like Bingo Night and Cupcake Wars, to larger-scale programs, like LSC Takeover and Earth Day!
