Assistantships are available in the following areas:
Applied Instrumental/Vocal Performance
Choral Conducting
Collaborative Piano
Composition
Music History
Music Therapy (not currently accepting applications)
Orchestral Conducting
Wind Conducting
Assistantships provide a 9-month appointment with a stipend of $9,846.
Please note: Not all areas have new assistantships every year. Duties are assigned by the applicant's applied area in consultation with the Director of the School of Music.
Qualifications: Admission to the Master of Music degree program in the School of Music, and expertise in the area of application.
