Volunteer and Internship Opportunities
Careers in healthcare include but also extend beyond providing direct care to patients. Health care law, medical billing, patient advocacy, epidemiology, and public health, to name just a few fields, all require the interdisciplinary skills of the medical humanities. Experiential or “hands-on” learning is a great way to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in various health-related fields. These experiences can reinforce and add depth to your classroom learning. They also provide crucial opportunities to stand out in today’s competitive job market.
The Medical and Health Humanities program does not offer or facilitate any internships at this time, but we do provide this list of volunteer and internship opportunities for your convenience.
