Our Successes

Dr. Paul Child III was nominated by Morgan Richardson, Animal Science, for the Keys of Excellence Award for the 2024 academic year.

"I am honored to have been given the opportunity to nominate Professor Child for the Keys of Excellence award. Professor Child's eagerness to assist his students in any way possible was truly inspiring. He was always willing to answer any questions I had about an assignment and gave me the confidence to be proud of my writing. Even when I came into office hours disappointed in my work, he never bashed any of my writings. He believed in me and my abilities when I doubted myself and was always there to listen to my concerns. We shared a similar passion for the books we were expected to read during the class. This led to an abundance of side conversations during office hours as we shared our opinions about the readings. I cherish the conversations we had as it made me realize he was so much more than a professor.
