Fully online graduate program focusing on key topics in human communication, such as interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, health communication, instructional communication and more.
Designed to equip graduates for roles in teaching (community college, dual credit, adjunct) or as a foundation for doctoral studies, the program also supports careers in fields like management, business development, leadership, and human resources.
In addition to the master’s degree, an 18-hour certificate option allows students to gain stackable credentials.

Applications to the online Communication Studies Master’s Program are reviewed on a rolling basis. We will accept and continue to review applications until all program slots are filled. Early applications are encourage in order to increase the opportunities for scholarships and grants.
Application review for each semester begins:
- Fall: August 1st
- Spring: December 1st
- Summer: May 15th
