Sarah Burchett

Sarah (Lane) Burchett was born and raised in Huntsville, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University with her degree in Sport Management in 2017 and joined the Center for Community Engagement as the Communications Coordinator in December of 2019. In her role with the CCE, she has written numerous articles, managed social media pages and content creation, and overseen website updates. She commits her time outside of the university to community organizations including the Huntsville Junior Service League, First United Methodist Church Huntsville, and Texas Pride Volleyball – a youth volleyball club. She is driven by her care for others and desires to see SHSU lead the way in community connections and collaboration.
